Description
You can use the Time/Service Billings database to track the amount of time worked and billed against a project for a Customer. Specific activity for each project can be designated for detailed record keeping.
How to use this solution
Each record has both an Hours Worked and an Hours Billed field, because an employee may work unbillable hours (such as during the proposal stage). The employer can run a report to calculate hours worked (for payroll) and hours billed (for accounts
$ receivable).
How to customize this solution
This solution is very expandable, because it contains information about customers, employees, projects, and accounting. You can link to invoices for billing, create reports sorted by activity or by invoice, track employee productivity, and so on.
